Dr. Makaya Roma D.C.
began her practice of Chiropractic and rehabilitative therapies as well as her Yoga instruction in 1988. Makaya is the founder and director of this center. The primary intention of her healing work as well as her yoga instruction is to assist individuals on their path to a higher level of health and well being. Each of her yoga classes is unique and has a theme or focus. The pace is gentle and rhythmic, connecting breath with movement. She encourages students to honour their own needs. To insure that her students are able to find that place of comfort and balance in each pose, she provides alternatives and or modifications. Makaya is available for private yoga therapy and chiropractic bodywork sessions.

Joyce Anue MS, PT
has been teaching yoga for over 24 years and training yoga teachers nationally since 1996. Joyce utilizes her extensive background in physical therapy, anatomy and manual medicine to help students work safely and effectively in their asana practice. She is the founder and director of the YES (Yoga Educationasl Seminars) Yoga Teacher Trainings and Advanced Yoga Studies program.
Joyce is committed to yoga as a physical and psychospiritual practice and helping her students and private clients develop compassion, mindfulness, health and self awareness.
Ruth Caudell
has long believed in the connection of the mind, body, and spirit. She has a B.S. in physiological psychology and is a graduate of the Iyengar Institute in San Francisco. Encouraging precision of alignment and mindfulness, she helps students harmonize inner and outer planes, leading towards grounded lightness. Ruth believes that the practice of yoga increases our self awareness and generates love and peace from within.
Joan Donato L.C.S.W.
has almost
40 years experience as a student of yoga. She has been teaching yoga since
1994. Joan teaches in a relaxed manner with emphasis on the breath and breathing the movement. Joan believes that
movement is life as breath is life and that yoga gets you moving and breathing. She believes that the practice of yoga cultivates self-love and healing.
Sharre Young C.M.T.
began practicing yoga in 1986 and has been teaching since 1998. Her experience includes studies with masters from Vedic, Buddhist, Tantric as well as Advaitic lineages and she has traveled to India and Sri Lanka on several occasions to study and practice. Her asana practice is grounded in the Krishnamacharya lineage (Iyengar and Jois). A practicing massage therapist since 1987, she is currently involved in intensive training in the Shadow Yoga method of Shandor Remete, himself a direct student of Sri. BKS Iyengar.
Linda Zecca
is a certified yoga instructor and massage therapist. Her classes include gently flowing and comfortable sustaining postures with an emphasis on alignment and breathing awareness. Linda works with students of different ages and abilities and encourages her students to access their own inner guidance and natural wisdom.
